Inmate Telephone Communication System

The Chattooga County Jail uses an inmate telephone system provided by Securus Technologies. After the initial booking process newly arrested individuals may place a limited number of telephone calls to contact a bondsman or obtain legal counsel. Once processed to population inmates may place telephone calls from their assigned cell block from approximately 7:00 a.m. until approximately  11:00 p.m. daily.

Inmates may place collect calls or use a calling card available for purchase by the inmate at the jail.

Persons accepting collect calls from inmates can receive a cost quote by listening to and following the command prompts on the recorded connection message prior to accepting the call.

Securus Technologies should be contacted directly to establish PRE-PAID accounts, for assistance with any system problems or with any system operation questions. Securus Technologies may be contacted directly at 1-800-844-6591 or online at www.correctionalbillingservices.com.

Telephone numbers can be permanently blocked from being called by an inmate of the Chattooga County Jail by contacting the Shift Officer In Charge at the Jail or by contacting Securus Technologies directly.
